Heidi Barnett

Heidi Barnett is President of Talent Acquisition at isolved, a human capital management platform serving more than 180,000 businesses, where she leads the strategy, innovation, and growth of the company’s talent acquisition offerings. Prior to her current role, Heidi served as CEO of ApplicantPro, a bootstrapped HR tech company she helped grow into a platform serving more than 10,000 organizations before its acquisition by isolved. Under her leadership, ApplicantPro earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list twelve consecutive years and was named one of Utah’s Top Workplaces three years in a row.

A recognized voice in talent acquisition, Heidi has contributed to SHRM and the Human Capital Institute on topics including AI-driven hiring strategies and the future of recruiting technology. She has spoken at Utah Tech University’s Elkington Founder Speaker Series and is known for applying marketing principles to recruiting, a perspective shaped by a career that began in content writing and marketing before evolving into executive leadership. She has also been recognized as a champion of women in the workforce, having coached and mentored women inside and outside her organizations into positions of leadership.

Heidi holds a degree in marketing from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, traveling, especially to the beach, and exploring the mountains near her Utah home.
